Re-Bath & More is proud to sponsor the 26th Annual Schrieber Pediatric Rubber Ducky Race and Festival again this year. The event kicks off at 2pm Sunday, July 27 at the Lancaster County Central Park.
Join Us for the Schreiber Pediatric Rubber Ducky Race and Festival
This year’s festival features food, games, face painting, pony rides and more! Many of the games are sponsored by local businesses like ours. Be sure to stop by the Re-Bath & More stand to play Rubber Ducky Ring Toss or take on a friend with our Rubber Ducky Challenge. Kids win a prize each time and mom and dad are welcome to pick up information and brochures.
At 5pm 20,000 rubber ducks will race down the Conestoga River for the annual Rubber Ducky Race. An orange ticket corresponds to each of the numbered racing ducks and the first 50 ducks to cross the finish line will win a prize for their ticket holders. This year the theme is “Duckies in Disguise” so all of the souvenir ducks feature different disguises – from mermaids and horses to ninjas and monsters. Tickets and souvenir ducks are available for purchase at our showroom, located at 245 Centerville Road, Lancaster PA.
Single Duck $5
Quack Pack 3/$10
Lucky Duckies 7/$25
Daffy Dozen 12/$50
Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center is a non-profit organization so they depend on community support and events like this one to continue helping children. As a non-profit, Schreiber provides services to kids of all backgrounds and income levels, regardless of their ability to pay. While they do work with most insurance plans, reimbursement rates fall far below the actual cost of the services provided and the decline of “state funding” has resulted in a net loss for the Rehab Center. You can make a difference in the life of a child by purchasing a duck or attending the Festival on July 27 to support this great cause. Hope to see you there!
