Back in 2012, Re-Bath & More got a call from Mr. and Mrs. Rineer. They were interested in having us redesign their second floor bathroom. They had a cast iron tub with a contractor-grade wall system that needed to be updated. We met with them and helped them design a new bathtub/shower area that not only gave them new color choices and style, but also gave them an room that is much easier to clean and take care of. New flooring, a vanity and vanity top, and faucets completed the room’s redesign.
Having had such a successful experience with Re-Bath, The Rineers called us again in 2015 to redesign the bathroom on the first floor of their home. This time, the scenario was different because they wanted us to make the bathroom safer by taking out the tub and installing a shower base. We also installed grab bars to assist them and give them the comfort level they were looking for. We designed the location of the faucet and hand-held shower to give them optimal function and use, as well.
How did The Rineers feel about their new spaces? “We wish that we had three bathrooms to design with Re-Bath.” Guess we’re doing something right!
Redesigns like these are very common for us at Re-Bath. Whether you have an older home that needs a bathroom update, or you’re looking to make the bathroom safer, we can help you create exactly what you need.
On a practical note, as more homeowners are choosing to stay in their homes as they age, updating the bath to be safe for older users is vital. But never fear… an “aging-in-place” bathroom doesn’t look like a hospital. The fixtures and finishes we use are quite stylish, so your remodeled bathroom will look sleek and streamlined—just like a regular bathroom! Grab bars, zero-entry showers, walk-in bathtubs, no-slip tile, better lighting… As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, Re-Bath & More knows exactly what to do to make your bathroom a safer, more functional room.
Give us a call when you’re ready to make your bathroom modern, functional and attractive!
